They did all kinds of tests. Did you know I weigh 5.5 pounds already? Yet, I am very slender, snake-like and small. I have a little virus it seems, so they gave Ms. C some medicine for that, and a tooth-brush (but I thought my cat-breath is beautiful....!), and some other things. They want me to go back in a week and a half for another check up, to make sure my sneezing is not worse.
Next month I am going to be "fixed." So Ms. C says. I pretty much thought I was perfect already, like they say: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" Ms. C keeps telling me that if I do this, I'll be a much happier grown-up cat. I kind of trust her. I stayed right next to her and curled up against her at the Vet's, and she kept me safe.
Now I am home, and as you can see, I got right into Mr. R's chair where I also feel safe:
By the time Ms. C finishes typing this for me, I will be fast asleep:
Until tomorrow, my friends. Ms. C says she will not harass me with the camera any more today because I have "been through enough!" Maybe we will just nap together!

I am sorry you have a little virus. I hope you feel all better soon. I had to go to the vet today, too. They poked me with a NEEDLE and stoled my bloods and gave me a microchip. My Mommie has been brushing my teeths for a few weeks now. It is not too bad, because the toothpaste is seafood flavor.
hello, tabby!! we are glad this was an easy-breezy vet visit for you, an' we hopes yer virus skedaddles quickly. our xing lu only weighs 7 lbs 3 oz, an' she is full growed. so you are gainin' on her.
your next visit to the vet (for what we bloggers call yer "ladygardenectomie") will be a little more involved. you'll go to sleep for a while and wake up a little fuzzy-brained, with maybe a twinge or two, but you'll be fine. (our mommy even had this done, an' din't haf no troubles--so if a bean can do it, a kitty certainly can!)
nitro has posted his meme for all the world to see--when you're through wif your nap, we hopes it'll gif you a little smile.:-)
Hi Abby. Aaaahhhh... the vet! I have quite forgotten how many times I have been to see mine since I was little, and how many pills I have had to take. But, as we say here in France, "c'est la vie." I have had the sneezes myself this past week and have been taking medicine for it. I am much better now and I am sure you will be too.
As for the "fixing," no worries, my friend. It's just one of those things. I am a boy so it was a different "fix" for me but I had an umbilical hernia too so it was a little more complicated. That stuff they give you before the fix makes you feel REALLY GOOD afterwards!
Your pal,
Sen-Chan
Oh, a virus doesn't sound fun, Abby. Don't worry about 'being' fixed'. It's easy peasy. You'll have a few days of bot being as busy as usual, but the upside is that you get to nap more!
