Ms. C really feels awful. I mean, just look at me. I really, really, really, really hate that medicine. She feels like she is torturing me when I run around foaming at the mouth because I hate the taste so much.
Ms. C really is feeling frustrated and terrible about it. There is no tricking me by disguising a pill or this liquid in cheese, peanut butter, stinky fish, or anything else because I am very smart. I know when something tastes like poison and I will not touch it. She has wasted pill after pill trying to find the way to trick me, taking the tips of other humans who have had success in tricking their dogs or cats. Nope, it won't work with me.
She tells me that she is very concerned that my condition will worsen, and only wants me to be healthy. I'm still not going to take that stuff.

Oh you poor, poor, POOR little Abby! And perhaps even poorer Ms. C! I do feel for you both. What to do? The frothing effect really is impressive!
Well, I hate to say this but one thing that sometimes happens when medicine won't go down any other way involves very sharp needles. You need to get rid of that little problem, Abby! BE STRONG!

Ivy is a pro at the foaming as well. I'm a bit better with the guilt.
you poor thing! we sure can see how much you hate that stuff, but aren't they going to end up giving it to you with the stabby needles?
Yeah, that foaming thing always scares them! Have you tried using a piller? You will have to be held firmly by the scruff while your mom uses the piller to stick the pill farther down your mouth so you cannot spit it up or foam.
Eeee-yuck! That stuff reminds me of some disgusting meds I got years ago. Hopefully you won't need yours for long. It's definitely stinky no-goodness.

I confess that I foam up too!! It really gets Mom all guilty :) Dosen't stop her from doing it though!!!!

uh oh, it is time for the "pill gun." my mommy got hers at the VET's office. it looks like a syrenge. the pill goes in a rubber tip and it gets shot down your throat. it doesn't hurt, trust me. i'm a former feral and don't tolerate meds either.
i get wrapped in a towel like a burrito and before i know it, the pilling is all over.

Sweetie....you have to take your medicine to get better. Just swallow it quickly. Mommy just puts it down our throats....really quickly and then blows in our faces....that makes us take a breath and swallow. Hope you feel better soon.

I can understand how you feel about the medicine...I refused to take mine and they (those evil hoomans) tried repeatedly to get me to gulp down that foul tasting antibiotics and I wouldn't do it. I fought tooth and claw and ha ha ha I WON! Boy I am glad I convinced them to stop torturing me....

our mommy just burritos us up in a towel or blankie and shoves the vile liquid down our throats. she's so fast we doesn't haf time to fight. but she's had like a squillion years 'sperience, and our grampa norton hadded to take med-i-kshuns efurry day for years afore he wented to the bridge.

Oh yeah, the foamy mouth, been through it, don't like it.....so after a good bite, mommy got a piller from the vet and we got the hang of it quickly! The blue pills for my liver aren't so bad but those little white ones are {{{{{{YUCKY!}}}}}}=^Y^=Setzer
