How Lazy Can She Get?

Come on, mom. Look, I'm even helping you to type. But it is almost 8pm and you have not blogged about me yet today.

Ms. C is very lazy today. To be honest, I have too. I have been coughing and hacking a little bit, and Ms. C keeps asking me if I have a hairball. What's a hairball?

She weighed me today and I am now 7.5 pounds. That means I have gained 2 since they brought me home! I plan to keep on growing forever, until I am as tall as Ms. C, if not taller.

PS. What is a frootbat and why is it called that? I am a confused kitty.

I don't know what a hairball is, I've never had one. Nor has Zoe...but Mom says they're no fun to clean up.

Thanks for the compliments, you're cute too!

I've had hairballs! Not as many as the more floofy of our friends, but a few. All that hair you lick up and swallow when you're groomin'? Not digestible. Nope. Uh-uh. And guess what? It comes back up! With a cough, and hack, and then a mighty yaa-aack...hairball!

Angus, that was sooo gross! Who taught you to speak so explicitly? No, not me!

My mommy loves it when I help her type too. That really seems to motivate her to take over and get started typing too.

We love to help Mom type. Unfortunately, she doesn't appreciate our efforts.

PS - a frootbat is any one of the exotic cats with big fruitbat like ears. Skeezix, Dragonheart, Merlin, or Kaze are a couple of good examples of "frootbats."

Oh, I hope you don't have a nasty hairball - those are yukky! Sometimes Mom gives me pumpkin because it's supposed to help keep those from forming, somehow.

Thanks for visiting!

We missed you yesterday! We kept going to your blog, hoping for news, but there was nothing! So, it was nice to get some news first thing this morning.

If you have one of those hairballs, Abby, you ned to get rid of it. Yucky stuff!

Shade and I just hacked up hairballs yesterday. They look like hair sausages. Mine was brown and Shade's was black.

"PM, did you take a hairball picture? No? I am NOT crazy!"

Well, you'll just have to envision it. Apparently the PM draws the line at photographing yakkings.

I like helping Mommy and Daddy type too. But when I do this, Mommy puts me in her lap and snuggles me, or Daddy gives me the Stern Look and puts me on the floor saying "Table and Keyboard cats are ILLEGAL in this housey!". What does illegal mean?

As the founding frootbat I'll chime in :). A frootbat is a kitty with um...rather well endowed ears. Yes they're much bigger than other cats but we like to think we can hear more or something.

Anyhow, sorry about the coughing, I know how unfun that is!
