Cat Nests

Abby: We are sorry we were away for so long! I think Ms. C is finally doing better. In fact, we all are fine, so if anyone was concerned that we were abducted by aliens or some-such thing, we assure you, it's not true. We have been here all along.

Today, Ms. C did some shopping, including a few new items of clothing for Mr. R. She took them out of the packaging and put them on the floor to carry downstairs with the laundry she is doing, but FIRST, I had to make a full inspection and a proper cat-nest out of the deal:

Of course, Stygia could not leave me alone for long. She wanted to get into the action, but I repelled her advances and burrowed and stayed in as long as I liked! It was quite comfy and smelled interesting too.

Stygia: I think it's fine that Abby nested in the new clothes before I did. I was interested in them, of course, but I am very patient. I knew that as soon as Abby left, there would be a pre-formed and pre-warmed spot for me to curl up upon! I am still there even as Ms. C types, and I will probably remain there as long as she lets this stuff lay here.

Nothing makes a human feel more loved than the eau de chat on their new clothes! We all like that shirt with the sharks on it, too!

We're glad your human is feeling better. And it was really nice of her to make you such a nice comfy bed. Just the perfect one for a kitty.

We hope Ms. C is doing much better these days. And we're glad the 2 of you are doing fine.

But tell us: can you lay kitty-eggs in that cat nest? LOL

We're glad you're back. Yay! It was really sweet of Abby to prepare such a perfect snuggly cat nest. She seems to have quite a talent for it.

Oh, I'm so glad you're all okay! That's such a cosy new-clothes nest and you both look so cute in it! I thought I was allergy-prone, but poor Ms. C takes the biscuit! I love earrings but there are some I can only wear for a short time. Silver (the purer the better) I have found to be the least irritating. :) xxx

Hi girls, what a pleasure to see you! We wonder if Ms. C buys patterned clothes in order to diguise all your wonderful cat hair? Mom has a black hand bag Chilli and me love to sit on and it looks, well, you can imagine...

We missed you girls (and that includes Ms.C!). Thank you for the lesson in clothes management. We obviously have not yet properly developed our skills in this area, so we had better get to it!

I love lying on new clothes! They look better with a little fur on them! I hope your human is doing better!

We missed you while you were gone. New clothes always must get a proper furring before they can be worn.
