The Deward

Abby: So!!! After our Mom and Secretary promised us last month that the "hiatus" was over, she did it again! This is so . . . so totally unforgivable. Therefore, we are dishonoring her with this deward:

If any of you other cats, dogs, and other wonderful creatures have a similar situation, you are invited to dishonor your own Moms with this deward as well. BAD Mom. BAD!

And what have they been doing that is so terribly important as to neglect secretarial duties? I will show you some examples:

Exhibit 1:
Mr. R CAUGHT eating sushi!!!!! It could have been forgivable IF he had shared it with me. Which he did NOT.

Exhibit 2:
Ms. C (and Mr. R, too, for that matter) CAUGHT skydiving!!! How stupid can you get? I would never, ever deign to set PAW on a plane, never mind jump OUT of one!

Most important here is, what have we been up to? We have been really good kitties. Right now our humans both have strep throat, and in spite of their neglect of our blog, we have been comforting them by sleeping with them during their time of need:

Yes, that's right. We have out aside our fears and we both sleep at the same time with them on their bed. It's really not so bad. In fact, it's kind of nice and extra-warm!

Now we need to go campaign for our 4pm feeding time.

Oh how unfair of them...going off and doing fun things and not including you! And then you are so kind as to snuggle with them when they are sick! They don't deserve you two!

Oooooooo! We should probably give our human that deward. Except she has been helping us blog more this last week or two. We don't want to discourage her!

And she shared her sushi.

Good for you, girls! You did the only thing possible in giving them a suitable Deward. They have been quite irresponsible and are now paying the price, as we have no doubt that the strep throat is punishment for their misdeeds. It is really very, very, very good of you to comfort them through it.

So good to see you are back, and yes, a Deward was in order--no sharin' the Sushi? Bad!

We are glad to see you have forgiven them though and are helping them recuperate from their "lost meows" streppy throat.

Thanks for stoppin' by and sayin' hi!

Between the skydiving and the sushi, I'd say you've got a good case for the "deward". I sure hope things improve soon!

We would be too scared to skydive! The Deward is a good idea. We will have to give our Beans a deward because they are leaving us for nearly all next month.

We definitely need that deward for my mom. At least Ms. C has an excuse that she was doing fun stuff. Jumping out of a plane looks like lots of fun. We hope Ms. C and Mr. R feel better soon.
