DO NOT WANT

Maybe my mom thinks she can trick me. Well, maybe sometimes she can. But the truth is, I don't like it. They prescribed this for my sneezes, and I hate it:

Just look at my face!

Any time Ms. C tries to give it to me, I let her know I don't like it. I try to run away, and when she doesn't let me, I growl. RrrrRRRrrrrr. I heard her talking sarcastically to Mr. R about how the vet assured her that "cats like to lick it off your fingers." Well, I knew immediately that I didn't want it, just like I don't care about so-called treats.

Now I am tired, and I have discovered the cat-condo:

Finally, check out what has been wandering in our back yard! Last evening there was not only this deer, but also another one and three fawns!

I realize I may not have a chance against the adult deer. What do you think, could I get those fawns?

The Big Day

Well, she warned me yesterday. Today was a big day. Yes, Ms. C took me to the Vet.

They did all kinds of tests. Did you know I weigh 5.5 pounds already? Yet, I am very slender, snake-like and small. I have a little virus it seems, so they gave Ms. C some medicine for that, and a tooth-brush (but I thought my cat-breath is beautiful....!), and some other things. They want me to go back in a week and a half for another check up, to make sure my sneezing is not worse.

Next month I am going to be "fixed." So Ms. C says. I pretty much thought I was perfect already, like they say: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" Ms. C keeps telling me that if I do this, I'll be a much happier grown-up cat. I kind of trust her. I stayed right next to her and curled up against her at the Vet's, and she kept me safe.

Now I am home, and as you can see, I got right into Mr. R's chair where I also feel safe:

By the time Ms. C finishes typing this for me, I will be fast asleep:

Until tomorrow, my friends. Ms. C says she will not harass me with the camera any more today because I have "been through enough!" Maybe we will just nap together!

Distractions

When I am in the window, sometimes I get distracted from my important job of watching what's going on outside. So Ms. C says. I say I am just multitasking, but she says she has evidence. I argue it is not conclusive. There is reasonable doubt. What do you think?

Tagged by Catzee!

Catzee has tagged me... I didn't know what that means but Ms. C told me. She also said that tomorrow is a Big Day for me, but she won't tell me what that means! Oh, I'm so curious!

And now, on to the tagging response:

Rules: 1.be honest; 2.tag other people; 3.have fun!

What is your name?

My name is Abby. I am a Tabby, but I prefer to call myself a Tiger.

If you could change your name what would it be?

I asked Ms. C if she could please call me Cordelia? Or at least something scarier like Catasaurus Rex. Unfortunately, she declined. I have plans to prove myself though, mark my words.

What is your pet's name (it can be a webkinz or a real pet)?

See? I have a real pet:
It's mine. I sleep with it. I actually have several pets, but this is the one I like the most right now. Its name is Furrymouse.

If you could change your pet's name what would it be?

When it comes to my pets, I really don't care about their names. They lose their tails, they get lost. They are not very smart. As long as they are around when I want them to be and don't resist my jaws, I'm happy. How about just "Mine" ??

What is your brother or sister's name?

I'm an only cat. I'm still establishing my position in the household, so I don't know if perhaps Mr. R will turn out to be brotherly for me? I think he is more like a bed than a brother:

What do you think?

If you could change their name what would it be?

Are you still talking about Mr. R? I don't know, I always think "Mine" is a really good name for anything!!

Now tag as many people as letters in your new name for yourself.
***

My goodness. I don't know if I have that many friends yet. Well, I shall tag Eric and another Abby and Parker and Nitro!

Good or Bad?

Ms. C says I am both Good and Bad.

I am much more good than bad! I am good for so many reasons: I am cute, I'm soft, I don't use my claws when I ambush Ms. C and Mr. R, when I bite Mr. R it's only very softly and I lick him right away so he knows I am not serious. I try to be patient--I don't wake them up when they are sleeping. I listened to Ms. C and scratched where she showed me it was a good place to scratch. I fetch. I wash copiously.

If I'm bad, it's only because I was left alone for the 1st time today and that is not my fault! You see, I'm still a little nervous and up until now, I've been able to lead Ms. C to the litter box when I have to go. She wasn't here and so I stayed safe upstairs and so what if I pooped on the couch? They left me... Ms. C says she is going to be getting me another box.

Ms. C just made her 1st movie today using her cybershot camera. It's a little dark, but it's featuring Me lounging in Mr. R's chair. Any video starring a happy cat has to be good! I hope you can see it:

...and Repeat!

Ms. C is practicing her photography. I'm a great subject for any photographer or artist, I know. She wants me to inform everyone that she has been working hard to capture my actions, which is not always easy because I am flexible and quick. Here we are playing again, it's truly amazing how well-trained she is. Every time I bring this mouse to her she throws it for me!

Mr. R says I look like a Jackelope, do you agree?

Kill, Recharge, Repeat

I have been performing my job well, Ms. C says. Of course I have! She is pleased that I finally made use of my litterbox, but I have much more important things to attend to. Like killing the paper grocery-bag from both inside and outside, with the help of my little fuzzy mouse.

The bag must be landed on, bitten, whapped (several times each) and once it's thoroughly intimidated, I take my little mouse inside and go crazy in there to complete the task. Once that has been accomplished, well, I need to recharge for my next round. I even fall asleep in the bag. You never know, it could become unruly and I need to be right there when it happens.
