An Abby Normal Kind of Day

Abby: Today is a day for me only. Every cat needs a day like that, right? So here I am, as you can see I am going to tell you all about what's going on here.

Some of you will be VERY interested in seeing what's happening in our back yard these days! It seems we have a new family living here. How many do you see? Should we GET them?

It's warm out. Being flat helps.

I am very interested in all my my Mum, Ms. C, has to do. I follow her everywhere, and she was sick the last few days with a sinus thing, but I had a fantastic time. She slept a lot, and I made sure I was right there, curled up in her armpit. I can get very small if I need to!

For some reason, Ms. C put this blanket on the floor, and I found it to be VERY stimulating. Maybe it had something to do with our catnip plant nearby, maybe not. I'm not telling!!

What are we looking at?

Abby and Stygia: You may be wondering just what it is that continually fascinates us with this window. We will not hide the truth from you!

Just look at this! They come in to our yard, and they frisk about! They seem calm in this picture, but at twilight, they are quite active. Do you see things like this too? What ARE they? Can we play with them? Should we?

Deer Update

The Deer are back! Ms. C moved quietly to get pictures:

I am a very inexperienced cat when it comes to deer. Why are they "Vishus Deer?" Ms. C thinks they look like food with legs. I agree.

PS. Thank you for the tip, Parker. I now feel a little more informed about the bloodthirsty vishus deer, and have alerted Skeezix to this incident of their multiplication!

DO NOT WANT

Maybe my mom thinks she can trick me. Well, maybe sometimes she can. But the truth is, I don't like it. They prescribed this for my sneezes, and I hate it:

Just look at my face!

Any time Ms. C tries to give it to me, I let her know I don't like it. I try to run away, and when she doesn't let me, I growl. RrrrRRRrrrrr. I heard her talking sarcastically to Mr. R about how the vet assured her that "cats like to lick it off your fingers." Well, I knew immediately that I didn't want it, just like I don't care about so-called treats.

Now I am tired, and I have discovered the cat-condo:

Finally, check out what has been wandering in our back yard! Last evening there was not only this deer, but also another one and three fawns!

I realize I may not have a chance against the adult deer. What do you think, could I get those fawns?
