Tabby Cat Club and more!

Abby: Mum has been neglecting our page for a few days, but on the upside she has been arranging things to be comfier for US! She made sure that this beautiful catcase was assembled for me in a spot where I can lurk and keep an eye on her:

Stygia: Ms. C took our picture together. She really likes to do that, and we don't often permit her to appear on the blog, but I thought it was a nice picture of my own eyes:


In case you wonder what worthy tasks I have been involved in lately, I am still inhabiting Ms. C's desk during the daytime. As you can see, it gets some great sunlight. I was very impressed to find out our Mum chose to put her desk in a spot that we cats would appreciate, too. Thoughtful!

Sixth Photo Meme + Award!

Abby: The awesome cats over at The Cat Street Boyz tagged us for a meme! The directions are as such:

Go to your picture folder on your computer, or wherever you store your pictures. Go to the sixth folder and then pick the sixth picture. Post it on your Bloggy and tell the story that goes with the picture . . .

We made Ms. C do the work of finding the picture. Coincidentally, a detail of this picture is currently our blogger icon!

There are a lot of "out takes" in the folders we selected from, but in another coincidence, the 6th photo in the 6th folder was one that has made it on to this blog before! You see, I am a very helpful cat, and when Ms. C's parents visited, I assisted her dad in putting together some new catcases, I mean bookcases, that they got for Mr. R and her. As you can tell from my expression, putting together catcases is very exciting work:

Abby: I'm not here. I am a very secret cat, no one can see me. Even though I now weigh just over 10 pounds, I can still fit into very sneaky places! We call it a catcase for a reason!

Oh, hey! Look, if you could please excuse me and my toy, we are having a little staring contest here and we don't want to be disturbed . . . yet!

But wait . . . what's that glorious scent??? It's NIP!!! WHEEE!! (runs across the room)


Stygia: I love the NIP too! We get so excited and we just have to wrestle about it. Here you get to see my action pose, in mid-diveroll towards my crazy sister. She was whapping me so I decided my next move would be a pre-emptive wrestlelockwhap move!

Abby: Well, folks, that's all for today. I am just gonna clobber Ms. C's camera now so that she will put it down and give me some chin-scratchies instead. We were good models, I don't think it is too much to ask, do you?

The Catcase

Abby: How many cats do you see here?

Ms. C says this is a bookcase, but I've decided it's a catcase. What do you think?

Ms. C will have to get a picture of one of our favorite toys, which is a mouse with a feather-butt that dangles from a stick that hangs off the top of a door. This morning, I finally GOT it. I removed it from its string, but to be honest, even though I was proud of myself for getting it, it was a little bit sad because it no longer wiggled on its own in the air anymore. I promptly carried it to Mr. R who was getting ready for work, requesting that he remedy this situation. I guess there is some wisdom to that saying, "be careful what you wish for, cause you just might get it."
