Sunday Cats

Stygia: Ms. C is going to have a very busy day today, and so will we. There are so many important things for cats to do on sundays. I think I will spend a great deal of it in the sunny window, keeping track of things. Sometimes I even see Other Cats outside!


Abby: Look at this great spot! Ms. C set this chair up for me right next to her own at her desk, and it's positioned so I can get maximum sunbathing.

Stygia: I have a great idea. I am going to spend a lot of time sitting on Ms. C's desk. From here, I can see all that she does and I can know where Abby is, too. Abby fills me with suspicion. I might even plot to chase Abby as I gaze upon everything.

Easy on Sunday?

Abby: While some of you may be taking it easy on Sunday, I am constantly on patrol. Up here, on top of Ms. C's printer, I can get a good view of the entire room, while sticking close to her.

So far, I have determined that this lamp needs THE BITEY! Don't you agree?!

Stygia: I, on the other hand, am taking it quite easy. I can just as easily keep my eye on my people from my place where I roll on the floor!

Deer and Dear Report

Stygia: Our mom went outside this evening and counted ten (TEN!) deer in our backyard! I think you can only see eight of them here, maybe there will be a few more in the movie she made for your pleasure as well.


They were busy feeding on vegetation and were not intimidated much by Ms. C:

Easy On Sunday

Abby: You probably think we never take a break from our fast-paced life of wrestling and chasing. But even we need to recharge sometimes. Today's evidence will clearly illustrate it:



Stygia: Oh, yes... this sunlight feels so wonderful on my dark fur! I am going to stay here as long as it lasts.

(Un) Easy and Undercover on Sunday

As an update, I'd like to thank Texas for this award! *rolls happily!* He's not feeling so great today, so please stop by and bring him some purrs and scratchings and treats.

OK, so I start off Sunday with a little "easy" by sleeping on Ms. C's inner elbow. Please don't laugh, it was comfy!

However, you know me. Easy is never gonna last for long. Look, I'm trying. See: here I am sitting in Mr. R's chair. He has a really nice fleecy blanket that I can't help but knead when I sit on it. Purrr-rrr-rr-rr.


Are you a burrower? I am. I love to burrow under blankets, or in the crooks of people's knees or elbows. Anywhere I can squiggle into! So of course, I have to burrow under Mr. R's fleecy blanket. Ms. C has this special video presentation of that event:
